It's rumored that Microsoft has already built the Office iPad app. They are currently considering how to launch the new application and also decide what the app price will be.

It sounds like the Office For iPad will hit markets on Nov. 10, 2012. This date was released May 31.

If their plan stays on track, the Office App for iPad will have "read-write mode" for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Will it have other Office applications? MS replied that the inclusion and proper working of the other Office applications will be announced when the Office App for iPad is launched.
